          The essence of God's call upon John Zimmerman is beautifully expressed through his magic show, "Altered Optics." It appeals to youth, the addiction recovery community, and any population who is targeted by worldly lies. The audience is invited to consider how defeating experiences, false perceptions, and deceptive influences attempt to alter the optics of how we see ourselves. John uses the entertainment strength of illusion to confront those lies with the universal truths of a virtuous and worthy life.

     Understanding that not all venues can sponsor a faith-based show, John has adapted Altered Optics to promote the integrity and qualities of a desirable life without the Christian references.

     The show begins with how we have been created special and unique. It then acknowledges our own...and other's...destructive choices and how it impacts our life. The remainder of the show is a demonstration of reconciliation and the hope of wholeness. The audience is invited to alter their optics to see themselves as the beautiful person they truly are. It is a unique, relevant, and captivating way to impart hope that grips the attention of any audience.
